NEW MEDIA CREATIVE has written and produced a two-minute audio promo for APHEX SYSTEMS LTD. The ad is for the APHEX 230 MASTER VOICE CHANNEL, which is truly the finest professional microphone preamp and voice processor available.

APHEX 230

It sounds like a shameless plug, but we were so impressed with the 230 when we first tested it that we bought two of the units, and we use them to record all of our company’s voice tracks. So, producing this spot was truly a "labor of love." We are very proud to have been chosen by company president Marvin Caesar to create a commercial that literally demonstrates the unique capabilities, functions and features of this "magic voice box!" Click on the player below, listen to the ad (voiced by Joe) and hear for yourself how the Aphex 230 can enhance any voice to sound "bigger than life."

Hi there I purchased a Aphex 230 and have been told by marvin ceaser that I had to plug into my Allen & Heath mixer I have continually found it too be tooo hot….. adjusted sound card etc…now i have turned down output level going into mixer etc….. now it seems like a waste of time and my money…..

no one told me to plug it directly into my computer audio in…circumnavigating the A H mixer line in …. are you serious you do not have any other processer in the line from the back of Aphex 230 to your computer etc

I await your reply Karl King Canada

Karl: It sounds very strange if noone has told you to plug in the unit to a line input on your soundcard (or to an SPDIF input), since that’s the way you normally connect any external preamps, in order to get a shorter signal path.

BTW – the 230 is never a waste of money, since it’s a really great unit. :)
